Now we're all back "in barracks" for the winter months, when and how shall we meet up?

Does anyone have a desire to go to TORM in November?

Also, it has been suggested that instead of a banquet this year we have a family fun-day type event. Personally I like the idea of a family day but I think I would prefer it as well as, not instead of, the banquet.

Any thoughts?

Might go to TORM, not sure yet.

Someone suggested a pantomime, we saw the three musketeers a few years ago in Bristol and had a meal in civvies. Is there anything on this year?

Banquet is good too though. Its nice to dress up and not be covered in gunpowder residue and oil every now and then.

I like the idea of a family fun day, as I have a vested interested with three sticky people.

Would it be possible to have a Banquet in the new year, as we did this year, as always with my work from mid November silly season starts and it is all money, is there a venue down in the West Country (ooh arr) on a Par with Bretforton (spelling?).

I shall be going to TORM to pick up my carbine (which should finally be sorted by then!) Will decide on which day according to whether anyone else is going.

Have to be honest and say that a family fun day does nothing for me, and I would much prefer a banquet, but I am sure that we can manage both somehow...

As we've just got rid of the "child" element, I'd rather have a banquet. Joe will almost certainly want to come providing it doesnt clash with the Vikings ......
