Well, I think that went really well - after we'd worked out the little "tricks" involved in putting it together. Not sure we can get it out every time just for the fact that it requires 2 vehicles going from Bush Avenue to shift it and still have somewhere for the 4 of us to live and it requiring a fair bit of manpower to erect it (plus womanpower to watch Laughing ).
On the other hand it makes a nice communal place and it'd be nice to use it to the max now we've got it. We'll have to look at where it can go in 2011 when we get a decent muster list.

I certainly found that Sunday evening in the "Wardlaw's Banjo Lounge" very pleasant. Good beer (for the most part), good company and a bit of a sing song - what more could you want?

I think it should definitely be a fixture for major musters where we'll have the time and manpower to make it worthwhile.

It made for an excellent regimental venue (although with the increasing size of the regiment we might need something bigger!), but needs some thought regarding logistics.

Hmm, yes, perhaps next time someone should bring popcorn for the womenfolk?

I wouldn't be surprised if it transpires that they'd run a book on "Who'll break first and refer to the instructions?".

I seem to remember that some of the women tried to help but was told to sit down again.

instructions are always the easiest and sometimes quickest way to do things.

If all else fails, read the instructions. Laughing

Glad you all like our new party tent. Not sure we can go to something bigger unless someone else brings some. Would like to say that if anyone would like to borrow it for something they are welcome to (well it belongs to us all). All I ask for is a payment of 20 plus a deposit of 200 to cover any repairs. This will be refunded once the tent has been returned. Also that you collect it from us.
