Who wants another one? Where/when do we want it?

Abs and I have been saying that we'd love to go back to the Fleece (we even went there for our wedding anniversary and stayed at the same B&B we were at for the banquet) but people might have other suggestions...?

I enjoyed the Fleece - food was good and the venue was the right size and ambience. If people have any other prferences let them speak up.

"I like The Fleece", Stephen Jones

We are happy with the Fleece again, or trying somewhere else. Anyone else for camping in the snow?

Is this quote going to appear on all their promotional material? Perhaps with a mug-shot of Steve with a big grin and his thumbs up?

As for camping in the orchard - we like Lowerfield Farm too much!

Vicars Hall is a tricky one - accomodation is a real pain (most of the b and bs are shut until April).

I have a small idea forming in my mind that might lead to something - more later.

I really liked the Vicar's Hall in Wells but I think I preferred the Fleece.

I would suspect it would have to be now to get the booking and everything in place.

I will make approaches - unless anyone else wants to run with organising this?

How about having the banquet at the only Thirty Years War themed restaurant in the world, "Zum Speissgesellen"? Staff are apparently kitted out in 17c outfits, and the menu has dishes such as "susse kanonenkugeln" (sweet cannonballs) and "Obristentiegel" (Colonels saucepan). Only trouble is it's in Nuremburg Rolling Eyes . Might be worth a visit one day though.
