Anybody going and of so which day? I need to go to pick up the long awaited carbine. Asking early because I'll need to wrangle a day's leave.

We're planning to go and we'll probably end up going on the Sunday like last time. I need to purchase some leather for the making of cockers/bandolier/sling/hatchet holster!

On that theme - Rob could I borrow your cockers to get a pattern?

Sure. Remind me and I'll bring 'em along (or arrange a rendezvous at another point).

Havbeen lookingat the other market - the international living history fair which is three weeks earlier. It looks like Derbyshire Historical are there too, and I am off that weekend - no use of the last of my precious leave!

Anyone fancy that one instead/as well?

I expect I will be going to both Rob, if you fancy lift sharing. ILHF on the Saturday and TORM on the Friday (Warfare at Reading is on the Saturday). Also I can gloat over your carbine.

Will have a think, and see if Liz wants to go too (Joe needs his first pair of real shoes).

I hadn't twigged Warfare was the same weeekend as TORM... hmmm decisions will need to be made.

Will let you know a little closer to the time.

I need to go to TORM to get my startups in for a re-sole. They started biting at the grass at Weston.
Could do with some shoes as well.
Expect it'll be the Sunday.

Afraid that, because of the way my teaching at Cardiff has panned out, that I cannot spare the leave for TORM and so will be collecting the small bangstick at the international living history fair on the 31st October.

Gordon and Alicia are off to a Halloween weekend with the camper van club. Not sure if I'll go on my own or not yet.

Just in case I decide not to spend next weekend cleaning the house or taking my Mother on a major shopping trip, are you meeting up at a certain time on Saturday?
Stephen is off on a sword course next weekend.

I don't think anyone's arranged a time, but this one is smaller so we'll probably bump into each other anyway.

Does anyone want to meet for lunch?

Sounds like a good idea. I htink the Huntsman is going to be there too; I'll tip him the wink that we are thinking of meeting up.
