I will be at Winscombe, but not Gareth who is on a Stag weekend, we will be at Western on the Sun but not before as same friend is getting married. Typical, a major kind-of close to us and we have to be in Nottingham!

Are you planning to be at Winscombe? I know that Lizzie and Ben are going (because they are giving me a lift!) and I think the Crates' said they would be.

I will be picking up a musket on the way to Weston so we may not arrive for the morning display. Very Happy

We should be at both. It has been a very quiet year for us so far.

Anyone else?

We'll be at Winscombe, not Weston though as I've got a wedding to go to in South Wales on the Saturday. Will try to make it for the Sunday afternoon

I will now be at Winscombe on the Friday night but leaving early next morning for my mates stag night. It seemed a good idea to come up and see everyone for the evening and knock an hour off of my journey to Nottingham at the same time.

Was hoping to make it to Weston for Friday or Saturday evening. Unfortunately I am working a 1.30 to 9.30 shift on Friday. Earlier shift on Saturday, so I'll see how I feel when I get home.

If any of you get to see this before you set off...

Be warned, Western Association have got the 10pm Sat to 6am Sun overnight gate guard and Tim's looking for volunteers. Rolling Eyes

See you there.

Think I dipped out of the "better" day to go to Devizes. The Saturday skirmish in Weston was novel - I've never had a battle in an ornamental garden in the middle of a shopping centre before - the afternoon nap was great and the 10-12 guard duty en-masse went off well (other than getting - and keeping - the generator going).
It was wet when I left on Sunday morning and I gather from Gordon and Alicia it didn't improve much.
See you all as Weston - hopefully in glorious sunshine! Smile

Battle on Sunday was wet but good fun. Certainly better than the garden! That was certainly the weirdest thing I've done so far in the knot!

Don't think I've marched so far in a long time as this weekend. The poor old hips are complaining today.
Great weekend (other than for Liz's fingers) and a great reminisce with Daddy Dunn on Saturday night.
