Hello All

Just dropping by to say hello to old friends and new in Wardlawe's.
Rob pointed me in the direction of the Forum and It's great to see the Regiment is still active and playing it's part in the SK.

I gave up re-enacting some years ago now after a good 30 years in the Knot and some 15 years plus with Wardlawes.

I'll drop in from time to time to see how things are going - Rob remind me to give you that CD with all the pics of Wells on it!

Meanwhile keep your powder dry!
Best regards

Steve Jones aka Dr Pratt

Welcome to the board Steve Very Happy

Myself and my wife (Abs) have been Wardlaws for about a season and a half now.

I had a look at your website and I was intrigued by the picture at the top that appears to be a dragoone(?) on horseback. Is that you? If so, is there any chance we could see the full pic?

Hello Gruff

Yes its me! Just helping Grenvilles with a parade event in Taunton. Having 3/4 armour strapped on so definately not in Dragoon mode!

Lizzie, do i see you are engaged to be married? Gods do I feel old now!
Many Congratulations to you and your beau.
Just shows that Wardlawes go that extra mile to get new recruits! Very Happy

I must have a load of old pics of Wardlaws on Horseback somewhere i'll try and find them out.

Lots of Love to all and keep posting!

Steve

Very impressive! I like the Burgonet - I don't recall seeing too many of them in the knot, certainly not on cavalry.

It would be nice to get some pics of Wardlaw's from back in the day - the gallery only has pics from events we've done since I joined.

Yes I am engaged! He's not a Wardlaw though, he's a Hawkin....

I'm working on it though, I'll make a Wardlaw of him yet! Laughing

Gruff, at some point once I'm all done with the move etc I'll go through some of the old photos at my parents' house and have a scanning session

Different Arlington - the Cemetery's in Virginia - been there, seen it, done it.
Nice to see the old pics - we must have loads - just not on digital at the moment.

Glorious leader? Who's that then? Or did you mean to prefix it with "vain"? Wink
