Did everyone have a good one?

Santa's sack bulged quite nicely for me this year. Some nice clothes, a nice slipware bowl (to go with Abbey's) and copious amounts of beer.

Also, I'm now officially out of the dog-house for buying a slipware mug at TORM when Abbey denied herself a tankard because she didn't think we could afford it. Let's just say that the look on her face when she unwrapped it made the weeks of pretending to feel guilty worth it!

Was a good one for me too (al;though Liz has been suffering from the mother of all colds).

Some cash, plenty of banjo, and a pair of rapiers for sparring with (well one was a present, I ordered the second for myself).

I had my op on the 22nd and so spent all off Christmas being spoilt by my family and trying not to laugh or make any sudden movements. Almost walking normally again now.

Had a good one, got tankard which is very pretty and slipware bowl from mum-in-law along with other delights such as a book of vintage knitting patterns and a rack for drying homemade pasta.

Hope all had a good one, see you in Feb!!

Had a reasonable Christmas all things considered. Gordon was finally laid-off on the Friday before so he's joined the swelling ranks of the unemployed. Sad

Not bought each other any presents at the moment - hoping for some inspiration in the New Year when we're a bit more organised

The Friday before Christmas? That was nice of them. Confused

2008 hasn't been the best of years for you guys has it? We hope things will start to look up in 2009.

As I understand it Gord is looking forward to having the time to get on with the kitchen!
