....don't you need Royalists to shout at, shoot at and prod with a pointy stick?

Just because something is necessary doesn't mean it can't also be repulsive; The Greater London Sewer system, for example!

Present company excepted, of course. Wink

Would any one like to give an opinion as to what we could do to any Royalist spy if one was found in our midst! Do you know of any period punishments we could enact on the field if a spy was found?

Rob, didn't you mention an account of a drummer who was unceremoniously wedged into his drum and rolled back to his own lines because he was taking more than a cursory glance at his opponents position?

It would be expensive in drum skins but possibly worth it to see certain malignant royalists rolling down, say, Stamford hill?

I believe suitable punishments would include giving the spy some chocolate or a couple of pints of beer to show them the error of their ways or bribe them into becoming a double agent.

That might work too...

Perhaps we should try both - wedge them into a pint of beer and drum them back to their own line of chocolates....

or something like that Confused

Hmmm, I think someone may have spent too much time at the Student Union bar...

Hah! I don't get into student bars. I'm only in Cardiff to teach and then it's back home for dinner.
