I've put together this very rudimentary Baldric - mainly because I didn't want to stuff my sword into a modern belt again when I do a year 8 lesson. The stitching isn't super neat but it's strong and does the job. I bought a kit from Bowstock and followed the instructions provided. It wasn't as difficult as I imagined but when I go the the re-enactors fair I might get an edge shave and some burnishing fluid so I can give it a proper finish.
Anyhow, here's some pics of the finished article:

Looking good. Better than any of my attempts at the like - I leave that to Gordon - he's the practical one in the family. _________________ Martin |

Abbey wants me to try and make some Cockers! I don't think she quite realises how much work that will be - especially as I would have to master Butt-stitch, which is not easy. |

What I actually said was that he should practice until he is good enough to make us some cockers!! I don't see what the fuss is about - I made him a doublet! |

Sofas? Plural? Where have you been hiding the other one?
The only problem is that I now want lots more leather so I can make things! |
