I really ought to be forcing Gordon to post this but...
As some will know, discussions with Christophus at Stratton came up with a price of c120 for double seamed versions (like Rob's) or 80-90 for single seamed.
The single seamed will take more leather, but save on the cost of all that stitching.

Actually it was 70-80 for singled-seamed versions.

I showed him the Cromwell museum stuff but he didn't really study it in depth. He spent more time looking at Rob's cockers.

Are we putting in a regimental order or doing it individually?

What about colours?

As I've said before, I don't want us to look too regimented. I would argue that you can choose your own colour. That being said, if a regimental order would cut the cost then it has to be worth organising. Another chat with Chritophus would seem to be in order.

I hope to be going to Steeple Ashton. I won't be going on the field. You'll find out why when you meet me, and no quips about CM changing call-sign to Ironside please.
I'm going to bring all my kit for newbee's to borrow!!!!

1 pair spatter-dashes for everyone to ogle at the simplicity of, and rush off designs to Christofus, etc!!

2 muskets
a sword
Soldiers coat
2 pairs breeches
2 hats
2 shirts
1 pair brown soldiers shoes
There's more.

No it's not for sale. My health might improve to the extent I may take on a small muster again in a few years time. My favourite is Stratton. Wishful thinking perhaps, but a boy's got to have a reason to be hopeful.
