Hope everyone had a good one.

I got a first rate ship of the line for Christmas. That should keep me occupied!

all you need now is for the docks in Plymouth to thaw out so you can launch it. how many guns? are you going to do cruises or fishing trips?

Well santa must have put his back out dragging the enormous amount of loot our three boys had and he was ever so kind to us both too.

Like the idea of 'a ship of the line' you go careful though, if things get tough, you could find your self 'impressed' into service with said ship Razz

Gruff - Are you prepared to share it with the French? Seems to be the way of things.

No reenactment kit this year, but then I have all the pointy, shiny things I can get away for the moment...

A happy new year to one and all.

The ship in question has already shared several hundred-weight of metal with the French I believe...

That's an outrage!

Santa's sack was fairly bulging at the Hunt residence...

Stephen had a new hat (looks remarkably like his other one I think) and I had some new bandoliers to help me blend in with ... er....... the other side.

I have also had 4 pots of chutney this year and never had any before. Anyone had any unusual gifts?

Thank you everyone who sent us christmas cards this year, we made a donation to charity instead of sending any out. Just as well as the post seems to have gone a bit odd this year and we're still getting cards delivered.

Rachel & Stephen

Bandoliers seem to be in vogue, the children bought me a 'collar of boxes' for my present - bless them. Laughing
